NWNJ Aviation opened in June 2024 and is based at Sussex Airport (FWN) in beautiful Northwest New Jersey. We specialize in general aviation maintenance and avionics installation. Ryan, the owner, has an A&P certificate along with a Commerical Pilot certificate with ASEL, AMEL, and Instrument privileges, and Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument certificate. Ryan has been involved in aviation for over 30 years.
We offer a variety of services including aircraft maintenance, repair, avionics installations, and upgrades, as well as aircraft and avionics inspections. It is our mission to get your airplane flying again as soon as possible. Our services our scheduled to be done same day or within the week. We can travel a reasonable distance if you are unable to move your aircraft, or we can have it ferried to our location. We also purchase abandoned or unwanted aircraft, experimental projects and ultralights.
Ryan is first and foremost an aviation enthusiast and has been involved in aviation for over 30 years. Ryan obtained his pilot's license in 1994 on his 17th birthday. He is an active pilot with PIlots 'n Paws and Patient Airlift Services (PALS Hope). He is an aircraft owner and is also building an experimental aircraft.
